You are developing a new product for your company. Although
you may already have a design, drawings or even CAD data
in your project, you know by experience that there are still
many obstacles ahead of you before the product can be produced
and launched into the market:
- Design verification and optimization
- Identification and elimination of errors
- Functional testing
- Efficient communication with project partners
- Evaluation of market acceptance
- Documentation
- Quotations for production, packaging
- etc.
For all these steps, little time is available since "time
to market" is not just a slogan in your company but
a vital challenge imposed by the global competition.
What can PROFORM do for you in this development phase?
3D CAD, Reverse Engineering
- Creating 3D data from 2D drawings
- Digitize existing objects
- Reverse Engineering
Functional Prototypes
|

|
Rapid creation of complex prototypes in epoxy resins,
thermoplastics materials or wax with stereolithography,
FDM, selective laser sintering (SLS) or 3D Printing.
High resolution techniques for small parts.
|
Small series of vacuum cast models
 |
Creation of silicon moulds from precise Stereolithography
master pattern and production of prototypes in Polyurethane
or Polyurea casting resins.
Materials ranging from soft and elastic to hard and
temperature resistant.
Colourable according to RAL, NCS, Pantone
|
Metal parts
|

|
Rapid production of single prototypes or small series
in various alloys from a Stereolithography or wax
model by means of Quick Cast, investment casting or
sand casting.
|
Injection moulding (Rapid Tooling)
in collaboration with Leutwyler rapid tooling
 |
Production of tools from precise Stereolithography
models with a special Epoxy tooling resin.
Manufacturing of small series in production materials
such as PE, PP, ABS, PA, PC, PMMA, ...

Specialties, Research & Development
Along with the rigorous evaluation and introduction of
general technical innovations, PROFORM focuses on the development
of application oriented technologies. Technology strategies
are a blend of internal initiatives and collaborations with
other companies and research institutes. Examples are found
in data processing methodology, small spot technology and
Microstereolithography, as well as techniques to mould highly
complex parts.
Delivery time and prices
PROFORM combines leading edge technologies to deliver in
optimal timescale at competitive economics. Based on STL
or IGS files, drawings or your specification of part dimensions,
wall thickness and volume along with your delivery need
we will submit our quotation mostly within one working day.
Turnover times depend on the part size and complexity. Typical
turnover times are 1-4 working days for solid creation techniques,
2-5 working days for the manufacturing of initial casting
models, 1-3 weeks for metal parts and 2-3 weeks for injection-moulded
parts (Rapid Tooling).
