Applications

Certain branches of industry demand prototypes, whose complexity and fine details heavily overcharge a standard Stereolithography machine. Therefore, PROFORM has developed a Microstereolithography machine in partnership with the "Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne" (EPFL).

This technology enables us to build small parts with a resolution of up to 10 µm.

Infrastructure

A self-developed Microstereolithography machine with a maximum part size of 5 x 7 x 30 mm3.

Materials

Special resin for Microstereolithography

The process

In contrast to standard Stereolithography is it not a laser beam which is directed over the resin surface. By means of a DLP-Chip, an entire layer is exposed at once. For further information, please consult the EPFL Microstereolithography Site
